U.S. PIRG Staff
Jenny Levin is the federal Public Health Advocate for U.S. PIRG. She works on a range of issues including food and consumer product safety, safe access to drugs and medical devices, regulatory reform, and toxics in the environment and consumer products. In her role as Public Health Advocate, Ms. Levin also provides policy support to state PIRGs.
Ms. Levin previously worked as an Issue Associate and State Advocate for Maryland PIRG, leading successful campaigns to win state protections from toxic chemicals in consumer products, educate the public and lawmakers about chemicals and health, and engage the media on topics of public health. Ms. Levin has been interviewed by dozens of local television, radio and print news outlets and has been quoted in the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun and on WAMU radio.
Ms. Levin is a native Arkansan and received a B.S. with honors from the University of the Ozarks.
